A Touch of Fall

Last week, I talked about getting your home clean and ready for Fall. This week, I want to inspire you to bring Fall to your front door! I love being greeted by the season at the front door. Pumpkins, wreath, accents, etc. There are many ways to add the colors and feel of Fall. So, welcome your guests with Fall decor at your door. Here are a few tips.

Pumpkins….don’t overload your entry with pumpkins. However, adding pumpkins will bring immediate Fall to your home. Groups of 3 is a great way to display your Fall pumpkins. Either 3 on just one side of the door, or if you are fan of symmetry stick to one plump pumpkin on each side of your door.

Wreath….my favorite Fall accent! With Pintrest, you can find an endless amount of wreaths to choose from. However, here’s a tip if you want to keep it simple. Buy a plain stick wreath. Wrap some Fall colored ribbon around it. Then, do a large burlap bow on top! You can also do the burlap paired with another patterned ribbon to add more character. Throw in some fake fall flowers or other wanted accents, and that’s it!! A simple wreath goes a long way!

Doormat. A fresh doormat will brighten up your entry! You can always get a seasonal doormat to bring colors of Fall to your door. If you choose a Fall doormat or a plain one, a new doormat is an instant face lift for your entry.

Fall flowers will be the finishing touch to your entry. Freshen up the flowers near your door for a refreshed welcome to your home! This will be the final piece to bringing Fall to your front door! Do you have a favorite Fall decoration tip? Share your ideas with me…how do you bring Fall to your home?
